Give the gift of water this Christmas

In Scotland, the average person uses around 165 litres of water a day. We turn on the tap or the shower and there it is. It is easy for us to take this for granted.

In uncertain times, one thing we have been able to rely on here in Scotland is clean water.

But for people living in remote communities in Malawi clean water is something that has always been out of reach. We’re working to change this, through projects supported by Scottish Water and the Scottish Government.

People in Malawi and around the world need clean water to stay safe and healthy, protect their livelihoods, and build a better future for themselves. This basic essential is more important than ever.

This Christmas, you can help some of the most vulnerable in Malawi so that they too can rely on clean water, today and every day.

Scottish Water has a long-standing partnership with WaterAid and is proud to work together with the Scottish Government and WaterAid Scotland to transform lives in countries including Malawi, by bringing clean water to those who need it most.

Here in Scotland, we pride ourselves on the quality of our public tap water. We’re proud to deliver that service for people in this country – while supporting some of the most vulnerable communities across the world where the need for this basic essential is much greater.
Your support this Christmas will help to bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene and make a lasting difference to communities in Malawi.

Now, more than ever, we need to help ensure that everyone, everywhere has a fighting chance of staying safe and heathy. Not just this winter, but for good.

This Christmas, help communities in Malawi change their own lives forever, with clean water they can rely on.
