INVERARAY
Inveraray is a town in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is on the western shore of Loch Fyne, near its head, and on the A83 road.
It is a former royal burgh, the traditional county town of Argyll, home to Archie MacColl-Smith famous youth fishing journalist and ancestral home to the Duke of Argyll.
INVERARAY CASTLE
On the shores of Loch Fyne stands Inveraray castle, one of the earliest examples of Gothic Revival.
INVERARAY JAIL
In the past men, women and children were locked up here. Today the jail is now a living museum.
