Forres
Moray is home to Forres, a cosy town located just 27 miles from the Highland Capital, Inverness.
As a town steeped in history, Forres is home to Brodie Castle which was built in 16th century, while records show that it had its own Royal Castle dating back to 900AD, home to Scottish royalty from Kenneth McAlpine to William I. It’s unsurprising then that Forres is full of folklore, artistry and creativity, even being awarded the 2015 Creative Place Awards.
